Stories:
Prop mishap: Jane Persse had done the props for some nights for the show but had never seen the play. So David O'Donnell agreed to do the props for her so she could watch from out front.
In setting up props for one act to another, the tray of coffee cups were meant to be freshened up and reused. Sally Bowles had stubbed out her cigarette in a cup of coffee at the end of the act. The next act duly started and David had put the tray of cofee cups back on set. The character played by Kevin Rush, was drinking coffee from his cup, and to his horror looked down in the cup and there floating about was Sally's lipstick covered crushed cigarette. He pulled a face put the cup down and kept going with his lines like a true professional. While Jane watching from the audience in the front row cringed and tried not to laugh at the same time while eye contact was made with Kevin.
