Theme:  Kassu stands for 'Knit a Servicemen Something Useless'.   A silly nonsense play- but FUN! BATS opening production, one of three plays presented in  Ewen Hall.

Venue:  Ewen Hall (YMCA) Willis Street, Wellington. Seated up to 600. Later played in Levin in association with Otaki Players.

Stories:  The local vicar, who of course, hadn't seen the plays wrote a letter to the local newspaper condemning homosexuals, drunks, and 'nonsense' plays.
